Clean and peaceful little spot, on the QUIET side of Zion National Park, far away from the crowds and the lights. We enjoyed the star gazing, hummingbirds, and the neighbors (all were friendly/helpful). Grateful to Jim and his family for making us feel welcome. June & Jim Cave Creek, AZ

This cabin is adorable! The pictures don’t do it justice. Everything is brand new and clean. The location is incredible, it feels like you’re staying right in Zion but without the crowds of vacationers. Jim was a great host, he and his wife made sure we had everything we needed and were available for any questions we had. This will be my first choice for a place to stay whenever I’m in the area. Review #18188442 “Zion National Park Cabin”
Could not be happier!!!

Amazing place for our family of 5 with everything and more than we needed or wanted.
As we were first driving into Ponderosa, I thought we were almost there. But then we kept going further, and further, and further back. The further back we went, the bigger my smile got! We wanted to get away, and we got it.
Pulling up to the adorable and extremely well-kept cabin added even more excitement. The property is immaculate and nicely adorned. And then while walking into the cabin for the first time, well, there were lots of “wow look at this!” and “I can’t believe this place!” moments. Were we are smiling so huge! The furniture, dishes, decor, … – all perfect and “cabin-y”.
The upstairs loft area was ideal for our kids (8, 5, and 3) and the low ceiling up there was a hit because it was like a fort for them. The air conditioning worked perfectly well and was nice and cool after our hot ventures into the heat.
We made use of the fire pit every night and our kids were happy exploring the property every day while we were there. Anyone with kids in the age range of ours know how valuable it is to have their minds occupied by nature instead of driving each other (and mom and dad) crazy! It was sooo great!
The drive from the cabin into Zion’s was so short. 15-20 minutes tops. We even explored Zion’s just a little bit right out of the cabin’s backyard.
The owners, Jim and DeeAnn, were so easy to coordinate with and gave us all the instructions we needed to have a trouble-free experience. They even provided us with a modified Google Maps link to take us right to the cabin because Google Maps by itself would try to use a closed road very near the cabin. How they could have done any better I wouldn’t know.
We highly recommend this place. These owners obviously care about their property and guests.
